That’s right, it’s the Wolf of Wall Street one and only Jordan Belfort. Reading his book and closely studying Jordan Belfort interview I can see that this guy is true legend. Since he was 8 years old he started delivering papers, when he was 12 years old he was shoveling driveways after snow storms in New York and at 16 he was selling ice on the beach blanket to blanket and so on and so on. He attended to dentist school only for one day, because he knew he was born salesman even in his mother womb, he was only waiting to grow and strengthen the skills of selling.
Watching his motivational interview and perceiving his Senior Datum he was presenting, I was just laughing from happiness and I taught: This is the guy that I need to follow! After becoming salesman he discovered his actual dominion that was training and motivating other people to become successful salesman. They only need to have very tiny desire to become salesman and he could make them rich and fully motivated.
By the tone of his voice, his grimaces, his unconscious body language you know that he firmly believe in his speech. That is the power of salesman. Even if he sells you pile of s**t he is going to make you believe its brownish fluid diamond!
There are 4 things that you have to do become wildly successful in any field. It doesn’t matter, either its money, spirituality, relationships, in love, in community, contribution or simply anything. The real “Wolf of Wall Street” was doing these four things at the highest possible level at his firm and he didn’t even know what he was doing. He was doing so called unconscious strategy. Even thou these are his words, but have you ever did something so well you didn’t even know how you were doing it? It is like you are presenting something in front of a crowd which you totally “nail” and you even whisper to yourself: “Oh I’m so good at this”!
Let’s go with the bottom line. The first mistake most people make (also my own mistake) is to be goal oriented. Goals are OK, but there are far more important things than goals, and that my friends are VISIONS.
“The ability to create clear and compelling vision for the future”. Vision for the future is a MUST. You see things as they are, but not worse than they are which is what lot of people do. They say it’s so terrible and tell themselves lousy stories why they can’t take action and the story they tell it’s exactly the thing that holds them back from being successful. It’s the exact bulls**t story that stops them from acting. The thing we need to do which helped me BIG TIME is see things as they are, not worst as they are and then SEE them better than they are and MAKE them that way.
“There is no amount of poverty that you can have in your life that can make one of the people wealthy, there is no amount of misery you can have in your life that can make one person happy, and there is no amount of sickness in your life that can make one person happy. So if you want to make this world happier, healthier, wealthier place than get as much of those gifts to yourself and spread them around”
Making money is really easy (Belfort laughing very self-confident) what’s harder thou is fulfillment. Money is just part of the equation.
You see things better than they are and you make them that way. The ways you do that is actually when you set a goal you got to get step into that goal and start to visualize. You have to taste it, touch it, and feel it. It’s not all about to think “when I get there I will be rich”, but what’s my world going to be like, how it’s going to impact the people that I love, my parents, my children, my close friends. People have misconception. They say “If I have money I will have less time for my family” that’s nonsense, you will have more time for your family, you will secure the future of your family, and even the future of your grandchildren.
2. The ability to manage your state
The ability to manage your state is the way you feel at the moment, your emotional and your physiological state. We all have days when we feel kind of broken in the emotional state and we keep saying “I can’t believe I said that, I can’t believe I did that I am such a fool”. Next day we are stabilized with the similar situation and we say to ourselves “I can’t believe I did that good, it was the right thing to say and I did good job”. One day we are brilliant next day the same situation and we are brutal. That’s not talent that’s not ability that’s the state we are in so the key to success is not to just to have a vision, but to manage the way we feel at the moment.

Clarity – to be clear and to be overwhelmed
Courage – you might not all the time be right, but do not let fear stop us. The global distinction between wealthy people and poor people is that wealthy people act directly toward fear while poor people run away from fear, period.’
People used to “throw” and say this powerful word all around without really thinking the definition of it. Pretty clear example is when we drive a motorbike and that motorbike has an engine governor. Let’s say it has 60HP(Horse Power) and it has massive rocket engine which is capable of developing speed about 150mph, but what stops the bike from developing 150mph is the bike’s governor. That governor stops us from expanding our limiting beliefs. That’s what limiting belief does. It stops us when we should go forward and cause us to go backwards when we shouldn’t. We all have them. The reality we are looking at is just subjective. We can interpret things how we want, we can have the beliefs that empower us and shed the beliefs that disempowered us.
What Belfort used to do when he was interviewing the new employees is expanding their beliefs. He told them to put aside all their background and past and if they say the words he teaches them they will become as powerful as the most powerful CEO in whole America. Why was he saying this? Because he was instantly expanding their limiting beliefs and he was removing the “bikes governor” they used to have in the past.
No matter what happened to you in your past, you are not your past, but you are the resources and capabilities you gleam from it. That is the basis for all change because if you survive the worst of the worst and if you made the biggest mistakes and you are still breathing then you can learn from that. That builds muscle. It’s same as building real muscles on your body. If we want to build muscle we cannot push lightweight but the more force you use to push extraordinary weight to get to failure the more results we will see. Every successful person will tell you they failed lot of times. The more unwanted situations we survive the stronger we grow, we simply reverse the angle. When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. We will find so much power, passion, and internal fortitude from the past. If we have directions meaning vision not a goal because every goddamn person has a goal and they are mostly full of crap. We need goals but that’s not enough because goals get abandoned and the visions stay.
Jordan’s strategy is to motivate people to become the best salesman. He is not telling most of the definition. Everyone have individual strategy to prolong their vision to reach their goals.
Cardinal (Of the greatest importance; fundamental) planning would refer to planning something big or strategy.
Strategy means – a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. It’s about controlling massive field of operations to achieving one’s goal. In this section I want you to imagine yourselves at a 3rd point of view at things. Imagine you are 100 feet off ground and you are looking down at some area, which of course is your objective, and you want to untangle the obstacles to achieve your goal. It’s like playing chess. It’s about moving the things in the tangled area. Providing activities down to the lower level of degree. You force all your power down there to provide actions to move your vision.
What is occurring when this cardinal planning is missing?
You are coach at a soccer team. You tell your attackers clear tactic how to dribble and pass the ball to achieve goals, but you left the defenders and mid fielders with poor information’s and nothing about covering the attackers from the opposite team. What happens? You lose 2-4 at your home field and you are now 7th place instead of 3th. That’s what happens when you leave some places unsupported and DE coordinated. This is why we are getting into trouble. We may take the enemies queen, but we will lose our king. Checkmate! When we have even a tiny tangled part it will cost a lot of problems in achieving the goal. Even the goal keeper needs to get info which footed the attacker are, what are the positions they are most likely to score and so on and so on. If we give good purpose, coordination, and a good tactic all over the places down from the rock standing hundred feet off ground, then we can rule the area and make gold out of coal.
Let’s get to the tactic!
Strategy is something which takes the whole plan, like a big massive subject, into smaller pieces, called tactics. Biggest mistake people make is getting clear tactic without figuring out what’s the big strategy. You know the small parts without knowing the big show to achieve your goal. You build a bridge, step by step, across a river that assembles two un-walkable forests. What’s the point in that? You build that bridge for no reason, just for ornament. You are missing the strategy of it, even thou you have beautiful bridge build step by step.
Let’s get to the bottom line. When you have something inside you that you are passionate about you should know 3 things: IT IS EASY, IT WORKS, YOU CAN DO IT! Money is a problem that needs to be solved. This is not a decade when you can just sit on your hands and let the business go, but you need to take actions and you do it NOW! Remember four things: Vision, The ability to manage your state, Beliefs, and Strategy. ONE LAST that is not a must but it’s like a glue to keep all things together are Standards. Standards are the way you want to live by, what you will not settle for unless then. Some people standards is to pay the bills so they pay all the bills, others are to pay some of the bills so they pay some of the bills. A standard is the first thing Jordan did to his employees’ first interview. He raised their standards and they will not satisfy with average.
