Angelo Merendino is the name of the photographer and his wife’s name was Jennifer.
He has documented and has since done numerous spoken events about the experience.
To honor her memory, he has started The Love You Share, a “non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial assistance to women in need while they are receiving treatment for breast cancer”.
Although theirs is a sad story, it isn’t without hope. The charity works with Universities and various Cleveland treatment centers to help provide assistance to women who need it.

Being beautiful and good and still being alive while you die, is the most incredible thing I think any human being can do. It is overwhelming in emotion and example.
It gives hope to others. A huge number of others.
