Birch – Achiever (December 24th to January 20th)
These months are winter months and winters are associated with darkness. Babies that are born in this stretch spend their lives in search of their light. They are charming and are people’s people. They are extremely motivated and hard working. They are cool-headed and are natural-born rulers, often taking command when a situation calls for leadership.
Rowan – The Thinker (January 21- February 17th)
As the name suggests, these people are real philosophers and visionaries. They are mostly really creative people and are powerhouses when it comes to actually deliver what they have to. They are quiet and observant. They do not like rules and always have a wild imagination. They are highly influential in a quiet way and others look to you for your unique perspectives. They have a natural ability to transform situations and people around them with only their presence.

Ash – The Enchanter (February 18 – March 17th)
Moody, creative and introverted are words that can be used to describe people born during this time. Art, writing and science are areas that strongly interests them. They are highly spiritual and love nature and usually tend to find the city and the hustle-bustle discomforting. They create a world of their own and like to live in it. They are idealistic but can be practical when the need arises.
Alder – The Trailblazer (March 18- April 14)
Alders are true leaders. They are charismatic and infectiously passionate, which is why many people follow them in the course of life. They are always at their best, confident and 100% self assured. They do not like to waste time and get to doing things as soon as possible. Alder people place high value on their time, and feel that wasting time is insufferable. Hawthorns are not what they might seem to be on the outside. They are not judgmental and great listeners which is what makes them the best friends you could possibly ask for. People often seek you out as an outlet to release their burdens. They can easily look beyond the petty things in life and as the name might suggest, they are born performers.
Oak – The Stabilizer (June 10- July 7)
This sign is the most generous of them all. They are nurturing and protective. They have a very optimistic view of life and like to believe that everything eventually falls into place. They take a great interest in history and ancestry, and they never want to stop learning, which makes them good teachers. They like being around people, and like to live in big, joint families. They are likely to be involved with large social/community networks.
Holly – The Ruler (July 8- August 4)
These people happen to be ambitious and competitive. If not kept active, they may slip into an unhealthy and lazy lifestyle. They are always well equipped for everything that life might throw at them and never give up without a fight. They are born to lead and are exceptional at it. They appear to be arrogant but in actuality they are just very confident in themselves and their abilities.
Hazel – The Knower (August 5- September 1)
The Hazels are the smartest. They are mostly extremely academically inclined. They know their facts, and they are always well informed. They like rules, although they are typically making them rather than playing by them. They have excellent memory and never forget details, since they are really careful about them. They are analytical and are forever intrigued by numbers, science and other things of the like.

Vines have always been thought of as a changeable personality type. They do not stick to a particular type which makes it easier for them to look at a situation in multiple ways. Elders are true free spirits. They seem to be extroverts on the outside but have a deeply philosophical bend of mind. They are helpful and trustworthy, and very considerate of others. In younger years they may have lived life in the fast lane, often identified as a “thrill seeker”. They can be brutally honest.
