The Shocking Life Of Bob Marley – Zodiac, Psychic Abilities, 6th Sense, And Rise From Poverty

The towns people of St. Ann reportedly thought Bob Marley had psychic powers, which allowed him to read hands and tell the person’s future.

Bob has quite a bit of air in his chart. His Sagittarius ascendant and Juno in Gemini also gives some insight into his relationships with women. He definitely liked variety when it came to the women in his world and his Juno (marriage/commitment) played a huge role in that aspect of his life.

Bob, believe it or not, has a very psychic/prophetic chart. All three of his occult/mystical houses (12th, 4th and 8th) are illuminated. His Scorpio Moon in the 12th house points to an individual with powerful intuitive energy and the ability to tap into the emotions of those around him. The Moon positioned in the 12th house may have made Bob hide his deepest and most personal feelings emotions from those around him. While is foward-thinking Aquarius Sun exhibited a man with progressive ideas and a certain amount of open charm, his emotional world was deeply guarded and under lock and key. Scorpio Moon craves deep/intense interaction with others, but issues surrounding trust often prevents them from doing so.

It’s Bob’s Sagittarius rising at 15 degrees that gave him the power of prophetic insight. Sagittarius energy has strong philosophical views, insight into current trends and long-range vision. His ascendant ruler (Jupiter) makes a wide conjunction to his Virgo Midheaven. The Midheaven (10th house cusp) isn’t just about ones career–it points to the world at large and how the masses view us. Bob’s philosophical (Jupiter) and spiritual views (Neptune in the 10th) were a huge part of his mental outlook and creativity. His Aquarius Sun conjunct the 3rd house cusp was determined to spread his views on pan-africanism (his Vertex/fate sits in the 9th house of philosophical views and international travel) to the world at large (His Sun rules the 9th house cusp)

As for his love life, his Moon/Juno quincux, Pluto trine Venus, and Mars in Capricorn trine Jupiter (as well as that roving Sagittarius rising of his) gave me some major clues. Bob Married Rita on February 10th 1966 when the transiting Sun was in his second house. The 2nd house is the house of finances (Rita worked and toured with her husband) and despite Bob’s infidelity, the two maintained a deep spiritual bond. Bob’s Vertex, which deals with destiny and fate is conjunct Rita’s Leo Sun. In synastry, this is a powerful soul-mate indication and with his fiery Venus in sexy Aries (4th house) trine Pluto (8th house) in Leo no less, I’m sure this man was hard to resist! He definitely knew how to tap into a woman’s psyche: The 8th house is also the house of se*x/transformation

Bob’s Pluto is also conjunct Rita’s Sun. This points to a powerful–almost hypnotic–connection between two individuals. The Pluto person (in this case, Bob) usually has a powerful hold over the Sun individual and with his Juno in Gemini in the 7th house, Bob viewed the women in his life as friends/siblings. Gemini is known for duality and spinning plates so to speak, so it doesn’t surprise me that he juggled multiple women. What’s interesting is that Rita often referred to Bob as her, “Brother,” and this is exactly how Juno in Gemini often presents itself.

It’s also no secret that Bob has quite a few kids! His official website lists eleven children (he had three with Rita) his 5th house (house of children) ruler is trine Jupiter. This is a very, “The more the merrier” kind of aspect. Jupiter tends to expand whatever it touches, and with this planet trining his 5th house ruler, it doesn’t surprise me that he had a large family.

His spiritual beliefs are tied into his Neptune/Pallas conjunction in the 10th house. Both of these planets are in Libra trine Uranus in Gemini in the 6th house of health. His religious/spiritual beliefs also played a role in his healing process during his battle with cancer. Chiron, the wounded/healer is conjunct Neptune, trine Uranus and opposes his health house ruler (Venus). Bob refused to have his toe amputated during his cancer struggle, because of his Rastafarian beliefs, and chose alternative healing instead.

Uranus is associated with unconventionality and almost futuristic practices. His Uranus in his health house gives insight into his views on health and how he chose to heal himself on his own terms (Bob sought “controversial” treatments in Bavaria) Ironically, Chiron had been wounded/poisoned with an arrow that belonged to Heracles; due to his own immortality, Chiron lived with the wound until he chose to give up his life in exchange for the life of Prometheus. This really touched me as I looked at Bob’s house of health and his Chiron. Bob chose to leave this earth on his own terms and that takes a tremendous amount of bravery and courage, and while Chiron was honored with a place in the sky (the constellation, Centaurus) Bob has left behind a powerful legacy of his own.
