I’ve read countless studies on cancer. When I say countless I mean it, literally… including causes, miracles done by people who beat aggressive cancer (even in the 4th stage), the real truth about chemotherapy, the effect of cannabis oil on cancer cells. I can go for hours… but I’ve never stumbled across something similar as this writing bellow…
I’ve stumbled across this article while I was looking for the effect of water fasting on cancer-cells. And I had some feeling that I would read something utterly interesting, and I was right!
So here’s what Lee Euler wrote on Cancer Defeated:
The therapy in this issue cures cancer with no side effects… and it won’t cost you a dime. What’s more, you can do it yourself, at home… and it’s far more effective than chemo.
You won’t hear about it from conventional cancer doctors, so listen up…
Since President Richard Nixon declared “war” on cancer in 1971, scientists have spent hundreds of billions of dollars conducting cancer research. This new breakthrough proves that their billion-dollar “cures” completely miss the mark.
Mainstream doctors try to fix the effects of cancer, rather than the cause of cancer. They treat symptoms, not the root cause.
New, cutting-edge research proves you can fight cancer by fasting… and especially by stomping carbohydrates out of your diet. To understand why, you first have to understand…
What really causes cancer
Mainstream doctors think DNA mutations in the cell’s nucleus are the cause of cancer. Convincing new research shows they’re wrong. According to Dr. Thomas Seyfried, they are completely off track.
The cancer industry spends $15 billion dollars on cancer research every year. But all their research focuses on the wrong part of your cells.
Seyfried’s breaking research indicates that cells become cancerous when their mitochondria (not their DNA) get sick.
Mitochondria work as your cells’ battery or engine, the powerhouse. Mitochondria take the food you eat and turn it into energy so you can walk, talk, run, think, cook, play sports, and do every other kind of activity. In short, they keep you alive.
In healthy cells, the mitochondria create energy through a process called respiration, which releases water as a natural, harmless byproduct.
In cancer cells, mitochondria create energy through a process called fermentation. Fermentation releases toxic lactic acid and ammonia.
So, the fundamental difference between a healthy cell and a cancer cell is the method they use to create energy.
It all starts here…
Mitochondria use the food you eat to produce energy.
Given the fact that sick mitochondria cause cancer and are affected by what you eat, could changing what you feed your mitochondria prevent and cure cancer?
Contrary to what mainstream cancer doctors say, faulty genes inherited from your ancestors are probably not a major cause of cancer. Damaged – or mutated – DNA does not cause cancer.
But carcinogens like tobacco smoking, radiation, toxic chemicals, and viruses can damage your mitochondria. That’s when these tiny power plants start generating energy with the more primitive fermentation process. Fermentation helps keep them alive. Dr. Seyfried cites more than 1,000 scientific references in his book Cancer as a Metabolic Disease to support this theory.
So, once mitochondria initiate fermentation, making your cells cancerous, how do you kill them?
What did Jesus do?
You may have seen an ad for a health newsletter that talks about “shocked atheists” and God’s cure for cancer. There’s actually something to it. In Matthew Chapter 4, Jesus fasts for 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness. Then, Satan comes to tempt him.
Satan challenges Jesus, saying, “If you are really the Son of God, turn these stones into bread, so you can eat.”
The reply Jesus gave – “Man does not live by bread alone…” – certainly contains spiritual implications. And according to this new cancer research, Jesus’ reply also has physical implications.
Fasting kills cancer cells.

Why so many different cancer diets really work
The diets recommended in several alternative cancer protocols really do help shrink cancer tumors. These therapies include the ketogenic (no-carb) diet, the Gerson diet, and the macrobiotic diet. Though all of them stem from different philosophies, they all still work.
Why? What’s their common denominator?
Each of them prescribes a strict regimen. And that strict regimen makes you lose weight. They practically starve you…for sure they starve you of carbohydrates. . . and they shrink your cancer.
Chemotherapy may actually work in much the same way. Dr. Seyfried says it may be the chemo-induced loss of appetite (rather than chemo itself) that cures cancer. It’s not (or at least, not only) the chemo that kills cancer cells; it’s the fact that the poor souls on chemo practically stop eating.
Depriving your body of calories effectively treats cancer. Without negative side effects.
Here’s why…
Normal cells respond to fasting by going into survival mode. They slow down and conserve resources.
Cancer cells, though, plow full steam ahead… At least, they try. When denied food, they don’t have the ability to slow down their metabolism until food becomes available again. They need a constant flood of glucose – i.e. blood sugar, which is the product of metabolizing carbohydrates. Without their favorite growth food, tumor growth slows and cancer cells die.
Studies show that fasting makes chemotherapy more toxic to cancer cells and less harmful to healthy cells. This is why it works to the degree it does. So, wouldn’t it be nice to claim your “starvation” benefit without chemo’s toxic side effects?
Here’s what I recommend…
Cancer Cure Step 1: Start Fasting
Dr. Valter Longo (one of the top cancer researchers in the world) claims fasting could actually replace chemotherapy. Though it’s unlikely conventional medicine would agree.
Following Jesus’ example of a 40-day fast may not be safe or practical for you. But here are other fasting options you can use:
Intermittent Fasting: Fast for 16 to 18 hours every day. Skip breakfast, eat lunch around noon, eat dinner around 6 or 7 p.m., and fast till lunch the next day.
Alternate-Day Fasting: Eat 500 calories every other day. Eat normally on the alternate days.
Water-Only Fast: Drink 80 ounces of water per day for 1 to 3 days. But please… skip this highly aggressive fast if you’re not healthy.
Juice Fast: Drink 80 to 100 ounces of juice per day for 2 to 5 days. Drink fresh carrot juice, lemon juice, apple juice, beet juice, celery juice, and wheatgrass juice. This fast helps boost your energy. I’m ambivalent about this option because it may contain a lot of sugar (depending on what kind of juice you drink).
Choose the type of fast that works best for you. If you’re going through chemotherapy, remember that fasting not only makes your chemotherapy more effective, it can also reduce your side effects.
I regard these fasts as the nuclear option. If you can put up with them for a few days or a week, you will probably strike a severe blow against your cancer. But then what? How do you finish it off? See the next step. . .
Cancer Cure Step 2: Avoid Carbs Like the Plague
When you eat bread, you give cancer cells exactly what they need to grow, spread, and metastasize.
Remember, cancer cells differ from healthy cells in the way they create energy. In cancer cells, damaged mitochondria pull glucose from your blood to make energy. This glucose comes mainly from carbohydrates. If you starve your body of glucose, you effectively starve cancer cells to death.
This means: stop eating all sugar! You should avoid eating refined carbohydrates like flour, bread, and pasta. Next, cut out high-glycemic foods like corn, potatoes, and rice. Finally, no more sweets, soft drinks, or juices.
Stop eating carbohydrates, and you deprive cancer cells of their only viable source of food.
And this is true whether you’re talking about a small number of cancer cells that are dormant, or full-blown cancer.
Healthy cells can survive without glucose. They are able to burn fat for energy. Cancer cells cannot. This leads us to step 3…

Cancer Cure Step 3: Eat More Fat
If you’re fighting cancer, Dr. Seyfried recommends your diet consist of 80 percent fats and 20 percent protein.
Eat lots of healthy fats, like olive oil, nuts (raw), coconut oil, and avocado.
Fill up on green leafy vegetables and high-quality proteins (such as organic, grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken and eggs, and wild caught salmon). Broccoli, tomatoes, salmon, sardines, trout, garlic, and spinach contain high levels of cancer-fighting nutrients.
People call this the “ketogenic” diet. You can find books that explain this diet in more detail. One of the best is The Cantin Ketogenic Diet on Amazon.
On a ketogenic diet, your body uses fat for fuel. You’ll want to make sure you include at least one source of healthy fat (half an avocado, olive oil on your salad, coconut oil on your veggies, etc.) with every meal.
Unlike a harsh, short-term fast, the low-or-no-carb, high-fat diet is a diet for life, in my opinion – not something you do temporarily when you have cancer. If you go back to your old sugar-lovin’ habits, your cancer will likely return.
The bottom line
More than 160 studies on diet and cancer prove the connection between a no-carbohydrate diet and dramatically reduced cancer growth rates. Add fasting to whatever else you’re doing, and you starve cancer cells even faster.
Following the ketogenic/no-carb diet has one more benefit. When your body burns fat instead of carbs, you produce a substance called “ketones.” Ketones contain powerful anti-tumor properties.
But there’s more. The ketogenic diet has been used as an effective epilepsy treatment for more than 80 years. But now there’s preliminary evidence that a ketogenic diet can also protect you from Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, and possibly more.
What we know for sure is that following the ketogenic diet literally turns your body into a mighty unfriendly place for cancer cells… without side effects, and without massive oncology bills.
So it seems that whether you have cancer or are trying to prevent it, you can’t go wrong with a ketogenic diet.
No matter what eating plan you follow, it should include supplements. In Issue #478 I talked about raspberries, and the fact that you really need concentrated supplements if you want to get a big dose of the valuable nutrients they contain.
