When we talk about relationships, we tend to tell others about the qualities we desire in and from our partners. Personality, good looks, money, humor etc… However, the truth is that there are only two things which matter the most when it comes to relationships.

You must be wondering, “What are those things?” Let me tell you that deep down we just want someone who we love and who loves us back. How often do you come across someone whom you love and he loves you back? The answer doesn’t need to be shared. You surely know it in your heart.

After all, life is not perfect. We all have flaws and imperfections. But what matters most is the one who really loves you. He is the one who can fix it all… If you are in a perfect relationship, you’ll understand it.

He is proud of you as his girlfriend or partner. He can’t stop talking about you to his friends and family, he knows that he is lucky to have you in his life. He is completely into you and makes an effort to connect to you emotionally and mentally rather than just physical intimacy.

Whenever he texts you, you know that this is his way of checking up on you. He will make sure of your safety and happiness. He’s the guy with whom you can spend your weekend binge watching your favorite television series instead of going out to parties.

You have narrated all your drama and problems; he listened to it with genuine interest. You partied too hard and he was there to bring you home safely and was ready with the hangover cure the morning after. He embraces all your flaws and loves you just how you are, for who you are.

He will not try to change you, he accepts you for the better and the worse since he know that you will never do the same for him. Such a guy inspires you to become a better human being, to make you realize your goals and desires in life. He knows when to make fun and when to lend a shoulder to cry on.

You can expect comfort, care and inappropriate jokes from him. He will not forget birthdays, anniversaries and other little details which men are often accused of forgetting. After all this caring and affection, he will not hide from telling to you his own private desires and dreams.

Since he trusts you to be his partner, he will share with you his life. He values your opinion just as much he values your emotions.

This is the guy who always knows where you are in a busy and crowded room, and even when surrounded by friends, always has one lingering eye on you to make sure you’re okay. I can’t say that you’ll never be hurt if you are with him, but I can say that this hurt won’t last much longer because it’s him after all. You two can work out all the speed bumps that come in your relationship. You might think that it’s all too good to be true, that it’s a dream. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Only you can tell whether it’s worth it.
