Okay so this may be an exaggeration, but the truth isn’t that far away from the fiction of Fight Club. To stand out in this world inhabited by millions of people is surely difficult. Some people are gifted and make the best use of their talent. They are rewarded with fame. The first step towards excellence is knowing yourself well, your good and bad side.

These are few values you can inculcate without any talent and will help you leave a mark:

1. Time management

There is literally nothing more valuable than time. If you cannot accomplish your tasks on time, you will not gain respect. In order to do that, you have to be organized and disciplined. Wasting time will prove harmful to your career. Also, once you manage time, you will have free time in hand to do something that you like.

2. High work ethics

Work ethics is not just how one feels about their job but also how one does his job. 8. Never be afraid to learn

Learning is a never ending process. You must be wise enough to know when you need help and be brave enough to ask for it. There are so many great things we know nothing of and only if we are eager to learn can we reach our full potential. Keep growing, stasis is not desirable.

If you expect your extra effort to be reciprocated immediately, you will be disappointed. But, if you are consistent, then you will get your reward. Make sure you earn it by putting everything you have, and you will be the happiest.

10. Always be ready

Being prepared is a choice. It is a mental state which helps one overcome obstacles. As they say “Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.”
