We live in an ‘ocean of motion’. There is not anything within this beautiful Universe that doesn’t vibrate at an atomic level. As an empath, light worker or intuitive person, you might be highly sensitive to the feelings of others and the energy around you as the ether that binds the fabric of reality is literally being constructed around us at all times. It’s exquisitely mind-boggling to ponder.

Being an intuitive person sounds really nice, as such people are aware of themselves and the world at large. However, it comes with its own struggles and challenges which no one ever talks about. Intuitive capabilities can prove to be very exhausting for the person who has them. He or she has to bear a lot.

Here is a list of the universal struggles highly intuitive people experience:

1. We know whether someone is genuine or fake

We can sense when someone is actually a genuine person who cares for us, and when someone wants to take our advantage. At times, to protect our relationships with people, we tend to bear their bulls*it but that doesn’t mean that we can’t see through them. It’s very frustrating to be engaged with such insight less people.

2. We are aware of those who project false emotions

People do this all the time: feign emotions to get a certain reaction (either attention or love) from others. It becomes increasingly difficult to deal with such people because then we are forced to fake a response to their drama. We highly dislike doing this and when it has to be done because of someone, it is irritating.

3. We want to fix the world’s problems

We tend to get so empathic with someone that we feel that we should solve all their issues and troubles. We end up getting in deep conversations trying to figure out the solutions for every issue that plagues the human race. Does solving hunger look familiar, or curing every disease with holistic approach? Been there done that…

4. We can’t stop ourselves from overthinking

When you are an intuitive person, it is difficult to figure it out whether you are overthinking or being intuitive about something. Sometimes we think we are feeling something only because our thoughts have convinced us. It’s extremely important for intuitive people to be able to use logic to determine what they trust and how they act on it. It is really easy to mix between the two.

5. We have difficulty in choosing: Logic Vs. Emotions

The world gives importance to reason and logic over emotions. We know we are emotionally sensitive people, but the world doesn’t need to mock us for this. In the end, it is people like us who help others in healing from the wounds of calculated reason.

6. We are very, very self-conscious

We tend to be very self-conscious because we know, or could possibly guess what others are thinking. It is not that we are particularly victimized, only that we are conscious of people’s inner thought processes to a degree that others are not. We feel very conscious of ourselves in front of people.

7. We can sense too much

When we can sense too much, we end up shutting ourselves from the world. We don’t always want to know what we instinctively know, because it can emotionally exhaust us and isolate us from the world.

8. We always want to “figure things out”

We are the people who thrive on certainty, who only want to get into a relationship when we are sure that he/she is “the one.” It is very difficult to handle because we know that life is not about safety. Life is unpredictable and uncertain. To demand certainty from it is indeed a ridiculous notion. One can always try instead of asking for surety.
